After tooth extraction, immediate, early or delayed implant insertion is possible. In this case, due to acute periapical and furcal infection was decided to wait for 8 weeks prior to implant placement in order to have sufficient bone and soft tissue healing. Evidence based dentistry also suggest to have good primary stability avoiding unnecessary excessive bone compression. Due to good bone healing a less aggressive but still stable implant was chosen and AoN Implants CYROTH® implant allowed to obtain a good ISQ value with a torque of 39N/cm, avoiding unnecessary bone compression. After 2 months of healing ISQ values were still very good and a digital impression was taken using an intraoral scanner. A Full zirconia single crown with metal link was then delivered.
