Evidence based dentistry considers teeth extraction and immediate implant placement a valid option in the treatment of edentulism. This option can be considered when there are no signs of infection, the alveolus is intact and the implant length is superior to the alveolus dimension, to ensure good primary stability. Another option is the choice between traditional flap raising and a flapless technique. Many authors consider the last one technically more difficult but with best aesthetic results. In this case two teeth needed to be extracted because of severe periodontal problems. Two AoN Implants CYROTH® implants have been placed immediately with a flapless technique and a subcrestal position. After 4 months of healing a digital impression was taken with an intraoral scanner and two single metal-ceramic crowns have been delivered.
