Maxillary All-On-6. Very Thin Bone

Clinical case of Dr. Alessandro Perini

The implant treatment of patients with a long history of edentulism can be really challenging. Maxillary alveolar bone undergoes to both a vertical and and horizontal resorption, leaving the patient with a small amount of basal bone. In this case the use of six short and small diameter implants, with still regular platform, allowed the immediate positioning of standard abutments. Only two minimal bone grafts were needed on two implants. After four months of healing a ceramic Toronto bridge was delivered.
