   I.        Our Data Protection Principles. AoN Implants US (“AoN Implants”) places a high degree of importance to the protection and security of User personal data and its service                    providers. The   use  of User’s personal data at AoN Implants is in strict compliance with data protection regulations in order to ensure Users feel secure in sharing their                        personal data.


It is important to AoN Implants that its Users are always made aware of which personal data is collected during their visit on the Website, use of its services as well as how such data is utilized. The following is intended to provide Users with information about how their personal data is protected from manipulation, loss, destruction or improper use.


   II.        Collection and Use of Personal Data. Personal data is any data that allow for personal identification of a User, such as name, address, phone number or email address (“Personal Data”). Personal Data is only collected, processed or used by AoN Implants if permitted by law or if the User has given consent.

a.    Contact Request. Personal Data is used when a User requests to be contacted by a member of the AoN Implants team.


b.    Registration for the Online Shop and Online Orders. Without User’s consent AoN Implants will use the Personal Data solely to carry out the User registration and to subsequently process User’s order. Currently, only dental practices and dental laboratories can carry out orders and registrations.


c.    Online and Offline Advertising. Upon accessing the Website, User’s consent to receipt of client satisfaction surveys, information about AoN Implants products and events, and to receive the AoN Implants newsletter via email.


In the event a User registers or places an order, User consents to AoN Implants’ use of Personal Data for customer analysis, contest announcements and advertising.


d.    Right to Object to Advertising. A User may opt out at any time from receipt of advertising or other electronic mail received from AoN Implants.




e.    Online Applications. When an individual applies online for a job opening, training opportunity or internship with AoN Implants, the person’s information is used for the sole purpose of processing the application in consideration of the candidate. Upon applying for a job opening, training opportunity or internship, AoN Implants shall store the information for 6 months at which time the Personal Data shall be deleted from the system.


f.     Sale of Personal Information. AoN Implants does not sell Personal Data to any third parties.


g.    Right to Know and Right to Deletion (Only applicable to California Residents). Users residing in California have the right to request that AoN Implants disclose what Personal Information or Data is collected, used and disclosed. Furthermore, the User shall have the right to request that AoN Implants delete the Personal Information or Data collected or maintained by AoN Implants. In order to comply with a request for information or deletion and verify the identity of the requester, AoN Implants may require the requester to verify up to 3 pieces of Personal Information maintained by AoN Implants.  To request data on Personal Information or Data collected, used or disclosed or to request a deletion of the User’s Personal Information or Data contact AoN Implants at


   III.        Cookies and Web Tracking


a.    Cookies. Cookies are used in some areas to optimize our Website to make it user-friendly and to fit the User’s needs. “Cookies” shall mean small text files stored locally on the User’s hard drive. Cookies are placed in order to keep available information for retrieval upon any future Website access by the User and facilitate the use of the online services. When a User’s visit is over and the browser is closed cookies are automatically deleted.


b.   Web Tracking. When using the Website, AoN Implants uses Cookies to analyze the User’s use of the Website and what items were of interest to the User (“Web Tracking”). The information generated by the Cookies about the User’s use of the Website (such as search engines used, search terms used, languages used, visitor’s origins by country, browser and plugins used, the referrer, the length of stay, entry and exit pages, cancellation rates and IP address) is anonymous and used solely for statistical purposes. This information is used separately from Personal Data. The two sets of data are not merged; therefore, they are not indicative of Personal Data and one cannot generate any such conclusions therefrom.


c.    Google Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. (“Google”) provided web analysis service. Google Analytics uses Cookies to enable an analysis of a User’s use of the Website. Cookies-generated information concerning the use of the Website is transmitted to and stored on one of Google’s servers located in the United States.


However, by activation of the IP anonymization on the Website the User’s IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and subsequently abbreviated by Google.


On behalf of the Website’s operator, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the Website, compiling website activity reports and providing the Website’s operator with further website and Internet related services. The abbreviated IP address transmitted in the context of Google Analytics by the User’s browser is not associated with any other data held by Google.


Users may prevent the storage of Cookies by adjusting the browser’s settings which may affect the User’s ability to access the full extent of all of the Website’s content and features.
